Ok after intel then what ?? Yes that is AMD you are correct.
Some of you are thinking AMD as an overheated chip. But In my view I think it is “Not”, and even if “Yes” it’s not a problem because we are not going to Touch it. I am using an AMD anthlon Xp processor for 4 years and it’s still working fine. Sometimes to complete projects on time, I have being working on it for 24 hours a day for about 4 days at a stretch and it works fine.
And the other thing is some says if it shows as 1.7 GHz on chip, it will show 1.47 GHz on the machine. (Windows xp)
This is the case in my machine as well. But it’s not a problem because AMD 1.7 GHZ is not the clock speed. It shows the value that equals to the performance of a processor according to others on the market. Actually its clock speed is 1.47GHz and its instructions for one clock cycle are bigger than other processors. So it gives the performance of 1.7GHz.
Ok then lets see what AMD tells about their latest chips.Click to see what AMD says.
